Fit 174: Philosophy, Collodial Minerals and Tempo Training Part 3

Motivation
What’s your fitness philosophy? Here’s mine! Share yours at the FitGirlUSA Facebook page!
My fitness philosophy

  1. It doesn’t take much time, just the right, effective, exercises done consistently!
  2. You don’t need expensive equipment, fancy equipment or even a gym (it helps but not needed) to get in shape
  3. You don’t have to kill yourself (IE bootcamps, crossfit programs, etc) to get in shape.  Really, if all that stuff worked, wouldn’t you be in ,shape? Sure you would and so would hundred of thousands of other people!
  4. It’s not hard, its actually quite simple to get in shape and stay in shape! Use your mind to maintain motivation!

Training
We’ve covered the importance of tempo training and how to execute the various parts of an exercise with tempo numbers. Now lets talk about advanced techniques. Keep in mind, that you wouldn’t use each of these in one workout! Use workout cycles! Mixed tempo training can be done with supersets or drop sets. Listen to the episode to hear examples!

Nutrition
Colloidal minerals are trace minerals suspended in a liquid. Your body requires nutrients and micro-nutrients to function in an optimal manner. Some of these micro-nutrients are trace minerals.  Colloidal Minerals are needed to form bone and blood cells, to provide for electrochemical nerve activity, and to regulate muscle tone and activity (including organ muscles like the heart, stomach, liver, etc.). Any imbalance in trace minerals causes a malfunction, which in scientific terminology is called disease! It’s important to know, that while our body is capable of synthesizing several essential compounds on its own, it is not capable of synthesizing its own minerals.  These colloidal minerals therefore must be supplied through the diet or supplements.

Research shows that an inadequate supply of trace minerals leads to a variety of diseases including depression, low back pain, arthritis, poor digestion, mental disorders and cardiovascular disease.  These diseases can have numerous causes and colloidal minerals may be the missing link for some people.

Absorption is the key to colloidal mineral assimilation! Mineral absorption can be increased in most individuals by learning how to take supplemental minerals, improving diet, obtaining adequate exercise, nutrition, rest and reducing stress. You do that already, right?

Most importantly, your body easily assimilates these colloidal minerals that are plant derived. This natural form of mineral is preferred by the body and will not cause toxicity when taken in the recommended amounts.

The following is a list of trace minerals that should be found in your choice for a colloidal mineral supplement.  Look for as many of these minerals in your colloidal mineral supplement that are derived from plants.

Aluminum, Antimony, Arsenic, Barium, Beryllium, Bismuth, Boron, Bromine, Cadmium, Calcium, Carbon, Cerium, Cesium, Chloride, Chromium, Cobalt, Copper, Dysprosium, Erbium, Europium, Fluoride, Gadolinium, Gallium, Germanium, Gold, Hafnium, Holmium, Hydrogen, Indium, Iodine, Iridium, Iron, Lanthanum, Lead, Lithium, Lutetium, Magnesium, Manganese, Mercury, Molybdenum, Neodymium, Nickel, Niobium, Nitrogen, Osmium, Oxygen, Palladium, Phosphorus, Platinum, Potassium, Praseodymium, Rhodium, Rubidium, Ruthenium, Samarium, Scandium, Selenium, Silicon, Silver, Sodium, Strontium, Sulfur, Tantalum, Tellurium, Terbium, Thallium, Thorium, Thulium, Thulium, Tin, Titanium, Tungsten, Vanadium, Ytterbium, Yttrium, Zinc and Zirconium.
